Why though? We can tell this has been run through ai even in the first chapter... Don't you think this is a massive turn off for anyone who's actually fluent in english? It's noticeable in your other stories too.
I don't see anything wrong with criticizing the author, but no, I'm not criticizing you... I'm criticizing the experience of reading this. Not that I even remember this. Literally the only thing I even remember about this now is your constant begging for comments. It's more memorable than this fic...
just imagine every sentence having tons of adjectives and adverbs for no reason exactly like this review. It's honestly even worse than having chatgpt extend the word count imo. "That simple reason was very good, completely perfect, and absolutely unassailable!" "Perhaps Kahn's complex thoughts unconsciously showed highly clearly directly on his face." "But entirely fortunately, after spending all this time closely together, Kori's mother had grown very deeply fond of this young man." "What you're talking about, of course, entirely exists." "But right now, he was acting highly unusually quiet." "So I highly hope the Fire Lord can successfully unify the entire world highly quickly this time." Here's some examples and I mean it when I say it is literally every single line.
The TL has highly absolutely actively quickly declined and interestingly suddenly my interest in reading this profound thickly dense book has highly declined suddenly sharply. As a result I have finally dropped the book finally suddenly.
It's highly* plummeting
lol I'm curious where you got these michelin standards for fanfiction. #3 is purely your personal preference for the story you want to read. I don't think it's really relevant. It's also the exacst opposite of my personal preference lol. For #1, is pursuing both magic and swordsmanship really being an expert in everything? I mean, isn't that basically just MMA in a fantasy world with magic? Can't he just be an expert in combat? #2 is reasonable, but you also have to take into account actually making the fights interesting, and the target audience. The audience on webnovel is mostly self-insert wish fulfillment, no? In that sense, it's reasonable to make the mc more talented than everyone else. You said there are "certain things that fanfics SHOULD respect." But why should they? Is it bad not to do those things? I think if you want to be good at writing, at some point you have to stop focusing on what people are calling good and bad. And instead, just focus on the stories you want to tell, and break any "rules" you need to do so. The goal shouldn't be "not writing something people will hate," but rather writing something people will love. Btw, did you use ai to respond to me? A couple parts read like ai and there's an em dash lmao
not really an accusation... just a statement of fact... Since you don't know how to write, why not check out CoTE: Light Yagami, for a decent example on how to use ai properly?
u really deleting reviews calling out your ai garbage
How is anyone able to tolerate this ai writing?
