I believe you’re stuck inside a bubble. Most One Piece fanfics follow the same pattern: either a generic pirate or a Marine who hates the World Government. If you set aside that veil of prejudice, you’ll see this work is actually quite innovative — there aren’t many fanfics out there that take a similar approach.

An average work. It’s clear that AI was involved in writing it, and there are many plot holes, as if it was generated by an AI that clung more to canon than to creating a cohesive story. For example: in this fight with Shanks, it’s mentioned several times that he interfered in the Marineford War, yet Whitebeard is still alive; it’s said that Sakazuki pierced Ace’s chest, yet Ace is imprisoned in Kaido’s territory. Many nonsensical gaps. And that’s not even the worst part: it features the infamous overpowered main character who holds back in battle, and somehow the enemies always manage to escape at the last moment.

Gostaria muito de ver um personagem que não assume uma postura passiva na hora do vamo ver, talvez ficar ao lado do capitão e lutar para que ele não morra seria muito interessante.
