Music is power. It would seem a world beautifully lit up by the elegant magic created by melodies. Bright and warm. But truly, it was cold and dark. A world where the power struggle is the only constant, where the powerless are trampled upon, and the weak are erased. Their bloodlines become entangled in the whims of the powerful, gods, demons, and the Blessed. It’s true what they say: “The strong do what they can, and the weak suffer what they must.” They were cursed to live their short lives persecuted for an origin they knew nothing about. She was born of this despised bloodline. Her dream was to become a great guitarist and vocalist and to travel the world with her band of misfit musicians. But little did she know that the world she had been born into had other plans. Lyra, a young girl suffering from bipolar disorder, found herself seated comfortably, watching everything she had ever known burn to ashes. She suffered at the hands of the hypocrites who ruled the world. She hated herself for being weak. She hated her parents for bringing her into this world. She hated the world for having no tolerance for the vulnerable, while all she wanted was to live her life free of opposition. Driven by this desire, she embarks on a journey to find the power she needs to fulfil her dream. Along the bumpy way, she meets her friends: Goldie, Levi, Michelle, Spencer, and Camille. They did not seek to save the world or change it, they only sought the power to live in it. But fate disagreed.
