I typed my comment quite carefully and you still managed to misunderstand it, and then you followed it up with comparing my ASSUMPTION (it's an assumption, of course it is without proof, its baked in to the meaning LOL) to the author's FACTUAL CLAIM that there exists "Psychological research shows that compared to men, women are generally more emotionally driven." , which does not exist, you are free to scour the internet for such research but I doubt that you will find much of it. I specifically wrote in my comment "emotionally driven" (which is the claim by the author, mind you), not just more "emotional". There is, in fact, extensive research in psychology and neuroscience about how emotions translate into different actions and decision making in men and women. "It is reasonable to assume that people who express their emotions openly are more emotional" According to what? It is rare to "see" raw emotions, most emotional expressions go through a number of filters, cultural or otherwise. One example is seen in women being expected to outwardly show joy or sadness in situations where the same is not expected of men, leading to backlash in cases where they don't (such as being labeled as arrogant or stuck-up etc.) Sorry for the long reply 💀

Btw the source of this is straight from the author's ass (og author, this is a translation). There is no conclusive psychological research that shows either gender is more emotionally driven, at most you will find some research that shows that it is more likely for women to be more EXPRESSIVE in their emotions (with the exception of anger and maybe some others which are more prevalent in men). My assumption is expressing emotions will vary depending on what is accepted from each gender in different cultures
