You were completely right — I went back and corrected the EXP from Chapter 45 onward. The numbers now line up properly. Thanks again for catching that. New chapters resume next week as we head into the final stretch of The Ash Warden War.
You’re absolutely right — thank you for catching this and for taking the time to break it down so clearly. The last chapters weren’t up to my usual standard. I was pretty burned out at the time and the fun had slipped a bit, which led to sloppy XP tracking and mistakes like this. That’s on me. I really appreciate you reading so closely. I’ll go back and fix the numbers properly in one of the coming days, and I’m planning to continue the story again in the new year with a clearer head and better consistency. Thanks again for sticking with the story.
Hey, thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed review — seriously appreciate it. I get where you’re coming from. Ethan’s rough around the edges early on, and that’s partly by design, but I understand how it might not land the same for everyone. I’m just a guy with a laptop having fun writing and trying to improve with each chapter. I’ll take everything you said to heart and keep working on making the story stronger. Thanks again for giving it a shot and reading so far.
Thanks for reading and for the feedback! I wrote Chapter 40 that way on purpose — Ethan needed a real, painful failure to push him past being the same scared porter. That moment is where he starts changing, learning to think and fight like a leader instead of just surviving. He’ll still be funny, sarcastic, and horny (it’s Ethan, after all), but his character’s evolving now. The loss gives weight to what’s coming — higher stakes, sharper growth, and a bigger payoff in the Dungeon Break arc. Hang on, it’s worth it.
Hahaha that would be nice for Ethan, but yeah—no rest for him. Things are about to get real wild.
Thanks a lot! Really glad you gave it a chance despite the title and cover — you nailed it about Ethan. Humor’s how he keeps himself together when life goes sideways. Hope you’ll enjoy where his growth (and chaos) goes next!
Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, that’s actually part of Ethan’s character — the jokes are his defense mechanism. It’s how he stays sane when things get rough.
Thanks for checking! Nope, there’s no yuri in this story — all the relationships are straight.
Appreciate the feedback! 🙏 The system in this story is set up so conquests = power-ups, and each woman has her own motive for getting involved with Ethan. Selene in Ch.15 wasn’t random—she was sent by Central to evaluate him, and she’s into reckless types, which is why things got heated fast. The payoff is his new SSS skill, which drives the next dungeon arc. The logic’s there, but I’ll make sure to drop a few extra hints so it’s clearer on first read. Thanks for reading and pointing it out!
Hey everyone — just wanted to drop a quick update now that we’ve hit Chapter 50. When I started this book, it was chaos in the best way. MILFs, system madness, wild titles and skills flying everywhere. But I’ll be honest — even I couldn’t keep track of all the traits, fused links, titles, and random stat lines by this point. So from Chapter 50 onward, everything changes a bit: Titles, traits, and skills are getting fused into fewer, way more powerful abilities The system gets rewritten — literally We move from meme-core chaos into a real story with kingdoms, wars, rival factions, and deeper worldbuilding This is still a crazy, over-the-top ride. But now it’s also a long-term story with real arcs, growth, and new threats coming — some of which aren’t tied to the system at all. This is my first book, so I’m still learning as I go. If you see anything weird, broken, or just have a fun idea — let me know! I read all comments and reviews, and I’m always open to improving. Thanks so much for reading, supporting, and helping this story grow Let’s break the system together.
