i read that as severed balls -- enough reading for today i guess
Several balls of light slowly entered my vision. Each light ball is distinct, with various sizes and intensities. I also felt a tug in my chest, telling me I could only choose two light balls.

We are orphans because our parents just died a few weeks ago, attacked and swallowed by Spirit Beasts. They are dead by trying to change their destiny of becoming Spirit Master.

yeah and it is precaution against future revenge-- some may call doing this is weakness as u dont have enough confidence to let them live-- but not doing so u must be prepared for possible consequences

it was never a peace ---its appears pacefull on the outside but wars just change form -- there is no perfect system of ruling - even if possible it takes away free will
