Cap 290 The translation was done magnificently. The MC became pathetic. What the hell was he doing for the last 10 years besides absolutely nothing? It doesn’t even make sense for these “companions” to give him trouble. The guy was killing 9,000 people at age 12, plus the two guys who killed Tobirama, and now, 10 years later, he’s in this pathetic state. In just 3 chapters, the author managed to nerf the MC, make Tobirama’s useless disciples stronger, and even make his useless little girlfriend stronger too. And then the MC loses in an illogical and pathetic way. It takes real talent to ruin everything this badly.

The guy says he’s going to live as a civilian, and now he’s basically forced into the academy and doesn’t say anything about it. He’s the most passive trash I’ve ever seen—once he’s in Konoha, the MC turns into a completely submissive pushover. What the hell is going on in this author’s head?
A bad feeling.
If you’re coming in expecting just Sesshomaru’s powers, you’ll be disappointed—the MC basically becomes Sesshomaru, like a possession. And it still has that typical “no-brain” writing you see in a lot of Chinese stories, along with the power of friendship and all that cliché stuff. The first few chapters are actually pretty interesting, but everything goes downhill with the many clichés and the MC’s bad decisions. Maybe if you’re looking for something more juvenile and comedic—and can ignore the clichés and stupid choices—it might be a decent read.
It’s probably AI—AI stories often end up with these kinds of pathetic situations and dialogues. Or maybe the author is just trying to make a pathetic, hypocritical MC.
Where are the Black King’s powers? Did the author shove them up their own ass? Why give him powers just to never let him use them? Incompetence.
