This has been a great read, although there are some translation problems, it's not that bad. Overall this is one of the best cultivation novels I read. I strongly recommend it to everyone to try. Translation: 3/5 - There are problems in gender and names. Though you can still read through it, it breaks the immersion. Characters: 6/5 - Every character is unique, probably one of the only few that gives personality to every character in the novel, from the side characters to even the background characters. I also appreciate that the author doesn't just use the characters one time and forget about them which a lot of long running novels do. And while the MC is smart it doesn't come at a cost making everyone in his surroundings dumb, in fact most of the characters are smart or if not, just naive. World building : 5/5 Amidst all the shenanigans that are happening you can feel a really flesh out world. You can really feel the meticulous work of the author in making this. The amazing part of this is that the world is slowly unraveled as you follow Lu Yang's adventure and not just infodump you. The MC is just a part of the world and even if they remove him the world will still continue to be interesting. Also, this is the first time I saw in a novel a government having good governance (aside from governance specific novels) and not useless, so much so that the most feared by most cultivators are TAXES *shiver*. Plot: 7/5 - For a comedy novel I did not expect it to have this much thought put into it. Everything feels progressive and not forced. There's even small bits and pieces of foreshadowing that later became a major plot in the end game. Overall it has a simple plot but the way the author told the story is what makes this novel shine. Comedy: 10/5 - One of the BEST comedies I've read. It basically pokes fun at every cultivation tropes imaginable, it also brought a new perspective to it that makes you think "huh, that's a good point "
