Yea Stannis could have if Ned actually understood politics. Ned is honestly kinda naive though and takes things at face value. Hoster Tully, Jon Arryn, and Maester Walys want to bring the seven north, Ned’s foster father is pushing him into it. I could have written that more cleary. Howland’s arrival at Ned’s wedding to Cat wasn’t my best written chapter.

Sad to hear about fewer chapters. This is my favorite of your stories.

This was cool. I really liked the concept of a targ dorne and would enjoy more of a short story on it.

It's a fun, well written story. This translator always does a good job and is extraordinarily consistent with updates. My criticisms of the story is that it feels like someone's crusader kings' AGOT playthrough at times, and the SI isn't the most interesting I've seen. Author is clearly familiar with the source material and respects it though. Gendry's system boost is not so OP that the story has no tension, and it's fun to follow him bashing slaver heads in.

This story is really a hidden gem. We get so few GOT fics with a commoner MC. A farmer abuses plot knowledge to scam his way into ordering Jaime Lannister and other nobles around. The system is well done too. He doesn’t get OP magic skills or supernatural strength and speed. He just gets low level skills that he uses optimally.

I‘m sorry the story wasn’t to your liking. I’ve tried to provide coverage of events outside the show and books but perhaps I have spent too much time on side characters? I thought the kingslanding and saltpans plots were pretty novel. I’m still learning to write as I go so specific instances that bothered you would be appreciated, if you can be more detailed.
