I'm starting to think this is a Chinese work; what kind of character description is stating their ethnicity? twice in one chapter.
I loved the idea, please don't abandon it (I'm saying this because it's taking a long time for more chapters to appear, and I'm afraid you might consider stopping.). Honestly, think of your fanfic like that image of a guy mining in a cave, but he stops, unaware that there are diamonds behind the path he was about to take. "Pursue your ideas as if they owed you money" I even thought about starting my book, which I used to write as a joke, when I thought about that, so think about it too.
Simply put, I have nothing bad to say about it; it's a very well-made work, without any of the clichés or anything that's becoming so common in fanfiction these days. The protagonist is a shrewd guy who was once powerful and follows in Ren Zu's footsteps; I just want to know if Mo Xiao (Forgive me if I got the name wrong, my memory of Chinese names is limited) there's a sort of extreme water physics involved, and whether that will have a name? or if it's just a physics with water Dao marks? like the flawed wood body Bao Zhi had, and oh, speaking of Mo Xiao, he looked a lot like Ren Zu's children were portrayed, kind of exaggeratedly: "I witnessed battle, betrayal, hunger, and human suffering, and now I've gained the gu of the Suffering human path." Wow, so the guy follows in his older brother's footsteps, drowns his sorrows in alcohol, and gets an upgrade, like in the greatest inheritance on the Human path, and gains a base of 10,000 souls, Like, I keep imagining people in the current era in Reverend Insanity reading about Bao Zhi's story as a continuation of Ren Zu's chronicles.
It's a good fanfic, an interesting idea, but I thought the ending was too rushed. (I mean, assuming that was an ending. to be honest, I don't even know if it was an ending because it seems like from there on Fang Yuan has an eternity of things to do.) It introduced new concepts and characters like the Venerable Nuclear Man and the one who controls time, like the Red Lotus, but that's all; it talked about them and they didn't even appear before the end of the work. I think it would have been better if things had been done more slowly after the kidnapping of the disciples from the 10 ancient sects.
You digressed a bit there, immortal Gu can only be replaced by immortal Gu, 10k would never work, not even if it were 100k.
Excellent. Keep writing, I need more and this wasn't enough to satisfy my hunger for chapters. It's rather rare to see someone writing Reverend Insanity fanfiction, and when they do, it's always the same old story. I found this one different; I won't spoil the experience for those who are reading it, just read this novel.
Hey friend, could you tell me the name of the work that's being translated? I know the translator changed the name, and I can't find any other translations or the original Chinese version.
I simply loved the idea, but even better than that was the way you're developing it. The humor is my kind of humor, the protagonist isn't a cheap copy of Amon from LotM, but rather a very good original character, and the idea of the powers isn't unbalanced. Now, this isn't even a criticism, it's more of an encouragement to the author. I really liked your writing style, but you seem a little insecure, and you don't need to be that way, really. You don't need to put notes in the middle of the text to explain the plot's development; the text is quite coherent, and the rest is up to our imagination as readers. Depending on its importance, you can put it at the end of the chapters. I apologize if I wrote anything wrong; English isn't my native language 😝
