This gets more sad and pathetic the more i read
During my deepest depression from my past life's events, how many times did I pray to be able to use magic? I wanted to be able to turn back time to fix my mistakes, I wanted summoning magic to create a zombie army to conquer the world, I wanted time-stop and invisibility magic to... well, everyone knows this one. I even tried casting spells and incantations of all kinds on my 30th birthday when I was still a virgin.

But I quite like my current 'present' life. I'm no longer imprisoned and controlled. I can tinker with and research magic and magic tools, and I have some pretty harmless friends. If you said I'd be happy to go back to a corporate life like my previous one, that would be a lie, but I have no intention of becoming an adventurer either. My current goal is still to overthrow Pilemon, make Luke the head of the family, help him marry the princess, and then live off them, using the family's money to do what I want.

But what can I do... Making friends with kids is harder than I thought. They all talk about nonsense, and with different interests, how can we be friends? If we had something in common like swordsmanship, most of the kids at my birthday party were too 'green' to understand what I was saying. When talking about magic, they were completely clueless, making me feel like my IQ would drop steadily if I talked to them for more than ten sentences, so I always found a way to escape.
