I really wanted to enjoy this. But imagine there's a swamp in front of you, and you have to trudge through it to reach the other side where you might find "enjoyment". But every step of the way you're getting swarmed by mosquitoes that suck out your energy instead of blood, leading you feeling like there's no end to this swamp. This novel is that. If you get a taste of the free chapters, you will only enjoy the novel for those few chapters before you get plunged headfirst into the swamp all over again. And again. And again. The author has a terrible habit of constantly dunking MC into annoying situations that have virtually nothing to do with him other than the (one jailbreak event) and then dragging it on eternally in order to nerf his growth. Read anything else if you want to enjoy a fantasy story that isnt a slog to read every single time the MC breathes within an inch of a new character and has his entire life turned upsidedown because the author deemed it so and dumped more baggage onto him.
