Dear Readers, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news and reflections with you all. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support, enthusiasm and engagement with my novel thus far. Writing this story has been an incredible creative journey for me, and knowing that it has resonated with so many of you has made every late night and challenging chapter worthwhile. However, I have recently come to realize that I need to take a step back from writing, at least for a little while. The creative process has been deeply rewarding but also intensely demanding, and I've reached a point where I feel my imagination needs some time to recharge. This isn't a decision I've made lightly. The characters and world I've created are always in my thoughts, and the narrative constantly beckons me to return to the page. But I also know that I need to refill my creative well if I'm going to do justice to the rest of the story and to you, my valued readers. So I will be taking a writing hiatus for a while. I don't have an exact timeline for when I'll return, but I want to assure you that this is a temporary break, not a permanent farewell. Think of it as an intermission in our dark literary journey together. In the meantime, I hope that the existing chapters continue to provide some provocative reading enjoyment. I am so grateful and humbled that many of you have chosen to immerse yourselves in the grim alternate history I've begun to construct. Your readership has been the greatest gift and motivation. I'm going to miss the world of Tanya and her harrowing conflict during this break. But I also look forward to eventually returning to it with renewed creative energy and fresh ideas to explore. The story is far from over, even if it's on pause for the moment. Thank you again for your incredible support and patience. I deeply appreciate every one of you. Hey everyone, Just a quick update - no new chapters until Jan 10th at least. I've moved interstate but the family's turned it into a vacation and keeps dragging me around. Trust me, I'd rather be writing!
