Killing Time in Kamen Rider
The Desire Grand Prix promises contestants one thing: win, and you get to reshape the world however you want.
For most people, that's everything.
For Kagetsu, it's something to do.
He's been wandering across worlds for longer than he cares to remember, and by the time he drifts into modern-day Tokyo, the bar for "interesting" is pretty much underground. The DGP catches his attention the way a flickering light might, not because it matters, but because there's nothing better going on.
Then he steps inside, and things get strange.
Veteran Riders can't quite place what's wrong with him, only that something is. Enemies that would normally tear through entire squads don't make it past him. The people running the game, the ones who are supposed to hold all the cards, start realizing their deck might be missing a few.
Kagetsu isn't trying to win. He isn't really trying to do much of anything. He's just there, going through the motions, seeing where it goes.
That's what makes him dangerous.
The world of Kamen Rider Geats has dealt with gods before. It's never had to deal with someone who finds the whole thing mildly funny.
