So, you read this story, then decided that this genre is not the type of story you like. But you felt the need to writing a scathing review with 1 star simply because you hate this genre? Is that right? It sure sounds like bashing an entire genre of fiction to me. (I call this genre "Global Transmigration", "Lord Competition" or "Trial of Gods".) If you found faults with this story in particular (aside from being an example of a certain genre), then why not specify these faults? You implied a fault of realizing that they somehow knew they ended up in another world without evidence. Okay... but what else? Does that alone justify 1 star? Personally, I thought the description and tags made it clear what this story was about. And your review implied that you are familiar with this genre. But if you hate this genre, then why do you keep reading stories of this genre? This reminds me of reviews for novels that give 1 star and bash a story simply for having a harem... despite the description and/or tags clearly specifying that it had a harem.

Granted, this is a valid complaint. I, too, am upset when authors do this. It is disgusting and upsetting. Even so, I would say that your 1 star rating is unfair if this one fault is the ONLY reason for your rating. (Even if you based it on further faults, you did not specify these in your review.) Consider 2 factors: (1) Authors of Chinese novels like this are targeting a Chinese readership as there is little to no aim for exporting to other countries. Hence why we have sites like this that translate novels from other languages into English for us to read. As such, the feelings of foreigners are not taken into consideration. (2) Of all the Chinese novels I've read or listened to, a clear majority of them (over 50%) seem to be just as you described, with an author seemingly brainwashed and spouting pro-China propaganda while insulting or denigrating several other countries (esp. Japan and India, neighbors whom they do not get along with).

Actually, it's not unrealistic for a few of the languages and cultures of an entirely alien world to have at least some similarities to those of Earth, especially if the world is rather similar to Earth and the inhabitants are similar to humans. Indeed, if things like soul transmigration or reincarnation exist in this universe, such similarities could be explained. Many Japanese, Korean and Chinese comics and novels involve a fantasy setting or alternate universe that strongly resembles certain languages and cultures of Earth. Most feature architecture, clothing and language that is clearly Asian. Likewise, stereotypical Western fantasy has names, language, architecture, clothing and equipment that is clearly based on Medieval Europe. Just saying: If you hate on this story for this reason, then you must dislike nearly all Eastern and Western fantasy that has ever been published. Quote, "And to be blunt, this read like a 12 year old stole a bunch of elements" Wow! But don't hold back. Tell us how you REALLY feel!

Oh, and BTW: Tolkien did not invent races like Elves, Dwarves and Goblins. There were many tales and myths about them long before. Also, Tolkien's works are more than just his depictions of such races. They could still stand on their own without such. Quote, "Cultivation? Chinese names despite the Chinese language and the linguistic evolution tract needed for it to exist? Lol, research?" Seriously? You expect every author to invent ENTIRE NEW LANGUAGES and create names that are 100% original, without any resemblance or basis from any language or naming convention ever used on Earth? Quote, "so I have pretty high standards..." I'd sure say so! I'd say they're nearly impossible standards.

Quote, "try to be original {snip}..." "...meant to express the Author's creativity/Imagination." Quote, "Elves? Orcs? Why don't you just copy all of Tolkien while at it." I get it: Some people are sick and tired of races like Elves and Orcs, just like some people are tired of other tropes. Myself, I'm tired of summoned heroes in isekai stories always being obsessed with returning back home to Earth. And I'm tired of a clearly overpowered MC always hiding his actual abilities for no good reason, so his classmates belittle him or pick avoidable fights because they grossly underestimate him. But, it's a matter of opinion. Many love stereotypical fantasy races, myself included. Some would argue that fantasy is just not fantasy without such races. Anyway, the absence of tropes and cliches is nearly impossible these days. The TvTropes site has many thousands of tropes listed. Inventing completely new races is a very tall order. It's far easier to add a new twist to an existing race like Orcs.

This review is more about your opinions and preferences than about the quality of the story. Quote, "existence of a system completely ruins the pacing..." Hating on a story with a System is definitely a matter of taste. That said, the author is wrong for not using the "System" tag to warn readers. Quote, "Cultivation?" It's right there in the tags: Cultivation. Why even read this if you hate it? Quote, "based on my personal opinion; the Worldbuilding in this novel kind of sucks..." So you admit it's your opinion? A good review should be based on more than personal preferences, tastes and opinion. A good review should be objective and mostly stick with facts. It should point out flaws such as plot holes, contradictions, grammar or translation issues, etc. Can you honestly say that you'd still give this novel a 1 star - a WORST rating possible - even if your preferences and opinions about things like having a System or the use of fantasy tropes aligned with this story better?

Not that there's anything wrong with it. But this webnovel site does have an LGBT+ tag that the author could have used to better inform readers of the type of content it has. By way of comparison: After reading a great many comments on this site, I see a lot of them complain loudly about novels that involve a harem situation when the author failed to inform readers by using the "harem" tag. Just saying...

It's a real shame because I was liking the story. But, indeed, the ending is extremely abrupt and incredibly trashy. It doesn't even feel like a true ending because it's left slightly open-ended, despite all the death and the seeming finality. Endings make or break a story for me. So this downgraded my estimation of the whole novel. For me, would've been better to not have an ending. I'll try to forget this novel existed.

Personally, I think it's unfair to the novel and the rating system to give it 1 star if that was really the only reason. I'm guessing there were also other, additional things you disliked about this story, but those were not mentioned. That said, I very strongly agree that the author should have given a warning in the description of r@pe and/or other disturbing content. Granted, this story does have a "Parental guidance suggested" rating and it is about the apocalypse. But the use of tags like "Dark" would've helped. And many novels put "Additional tags" in the description followed by a list of tags that the site does not support.

My understanding that this novel is not a translation, per-se, because the author actually posts chapters here and replies to comments. However, it seems that English is *not* the author's 1st language. (For all I know, perhaps the author uses translation software to translate some of it?) What I do know is that it is extremely commonplace for Chinese novels to use "time traveler" instead of "transmigrator" or similar. But I'd argue that this, by itself, does not prove anything.
