Gooood… he’s speaking some real BS right now… a good quality for someone who wishes to travel the Dao.

Since you’ve written an orthodox sect protagonist (Dalvin), and a demonic one (Li Ling), I’m wondering if you’ll be trying a rogue-cultivator route for this one. With his system, being an independent entity interacting with and building alliances with numerous factions seems the way to go.

Interesting bit of world building. I’m excited to see more subtle (or in other cases, major), difference in power systems between the two worlds.
