Hello, readers! Lazy author here. I’m not the best at reviewing my own book, but I’ll do my best to give you a clear idea of what Tragedy of Dreams is all about. (I'll be using the symbol (*) to redact some info.) What’s the book about? If the synopsis wasn’t convincing enough, this story follows a boy named Cloud—though calling him a "boy" might be a stretch, as the story starts when he’s in his mid-teens. He lives in Auranthia, a vast land ruled by various clans. But true power isn’t just found in the real world—many seek strength in the Yokai Realm, a twisted dimension beyond reality where monstrous Phantoms lurk. Those brave enough to enter do so for power, wealth, or something far more dangerous. Who is Cloud? Cloud is an ambitious orphan who has always struggled to find his place in the world. He’s a loner, yet deeply empathetic, with a burning desire to help those who can’t help themselves. His dream? To ********* ************* **********. But in a world where the strong thrive and the weak are left behind, that dream won’t be easy to achieve. Sorry for the asterisk(*), but I wasn't just gonna reveal Cloud's dream on a review :) Why should you read Tragedy of Dreams? Unlike typical cultivation or system novels, this story dives into a dark and eerie atmosphere, where battles in the Yokai Realm come with high risks and lasting consequences. Instead of a simple power-up system, strength is earned through battles with Phantoms, where victors steal their foxfire to ******** ****** *****. But with every battle comes the risk of losing oneself entirely. Beyond action and adventure, this novel explores moral dilemmas, tragedy, and ambition. It’s a story where choices matter, and where power doesn’t always mean victory. Update Schedule Currently, I update 3 chapters a week since I’m writing another novel (which you should definitely check out!). Once that project is finished, expect daily updates—maybe even two chapters a day! So, will you join Cloud and his allies as they carve their path through Tragedy of Dreams? That’s up to you—but I highly recommend you do.

I love this book so far. It has great pacing, great characters and great world-building. August and Artemis are my favorite among other great characters in the story, Ausgust in particular is very mysterious and cool. The dialogue and writing-style is my favorite about the whole story so far though, most likely cause i'm a fan of novels like "A Song of Ice and Fire". It's honestly a fresh experience compared to the most novels on Webnovel. The writer does an amazing job of captivating readers even when there's no action involved. I highly recommend this novel to anyone, especially to those who enjoy fantasy and adventure.
