This is intense! The author keeps building tension and mystery with each chapter. I'm so fascinated by the "calamity" and the way it seems to be affecting not just Xiao Jie but those around him. I'm especially intrigued by the reddish glow above Wang's head and Granny Liu's reaction to it. It seems like something dark and powerful is at play, and I'm dying to know what's going to happen next! Will Xiao Jie escape his "unlucky day"? And what exactly is the nature of these calamities?
