how long has she been on the island anyways
honestly I thought grimm moved on from her past but from this, it's obvious that she really hated it. and then the fact that she can't really express herself properly to others without the fear of erasure. but I wonder why the primordial goddess wants to gift pandora omnipotence, I see no reason to it. but anyways, although the hope is little, i hope pandora learns of what grimm said so that she would have a heads up and know that grimm actually loves her.
can grimm be considered the weakest avatar
like seriously, I bet that if Evelyn now hears her life as a story from the nymph from a detached perspective, she'll 100% not want to live like that. I think this arc is an acceptance arc even though she's in a dangerous and should be careful, but this is the best opportunity to truly accept how shit her life currently is and if she still wants it to be like that
to be honest, I initially found this chapter annoying because of the fact Evelyn trusted her. until I read it again and really thought it through, what's so good for Evelyn out there. like seriously, there's nothing good for her and she has no reasons or goals to be alive right now and it got to the point where you need a nymph to suck her sadness away. Evelyn needs this arc seriously, to find herself properly and really establish if she wants to go back there or live on the island.
I never saw it this way and the fact that they showed that they are lonely shows that it's quite a sad story for them. I'm sad for mezmari but she has to accept it and move on, but I really hope she finds someone.
it's a nice novel and I was reading it because other reviews were saying it's amazing. but the MC, she's dumb. I mean yeah she tries to forgive or heal her wounds, but she also tried every few chapters on the same person. I mean, it was quite sad watching her get betrayed over and over again, but it was quite annoying to not keep expecting to be betrayed and treat the betrayer like a person. and that fate lady is weird. my mindset in life is to appreciate good days when going through bad days and enjoy good days when remembering bad days. but the MC is just suffering and the fate goddess is all like, live, live. it's a strange stuff to me. I mean if the fate goddess was so benevolent then she could allow the MC to freely reincarnate into a good life after seeing her suffering. it even got to a point when I was wondering if fate is pulling her like a puppet with strings and it's also obvious that fate has little to no influence among the other gods, if not she wouldn't had allowed the curse to occur, if not at least she would had retaliated. everything else in the novel is pretty good and nice, the world building and writing is amazing and all the characters have depth to them. it's just that the MC feels like she is hitting an invincible and is brainwashed to continue. I mean, common from where I stopped she still trusts the wrong people again and again, and she literally pulls the team.
I noticed Esther touching her belly a lot and was a bit confused but now that the mom is checking, i'm guessing she's pregnant
nah just as a joke
