funnily enough, this story originally wasn't even going to be a dxd one. the old plan was to have the Blade template in Naruto, either during the second or third Ninja War.

I just made a guess. never read or watched dxd, but I figured they'd be about as old as/slightly younger than the fall of the garden of eden, and theists say that was around 10,000 years ago.
