Since the beginning of this story, I’ve been worried about this scene. It seems a lot of authors in this platform - from what I’ve seen - doesn’t really take the time and space to write deep-layered characters, or to actually make their characters grow realistically through realistic events or encounters. I’ve been worried for this conversation father-son because there were a thousand ways it could have been written badly. Like Li Hao would simply exploded and his father ignored his faults - that the author wouldn’t address this issue (who is a subplot, really) because it would have been soo easy to simple bypass it. But I’m glad. Not only this scene was written seriously, but it was soooo good too ! One of my fav of this whole book. It showed that the characters were humans, it resolved more than eighty chapters of wait. It was such a good chapter, it exceeded my hopes. I loved this story, and I cannot wait for next ! The growth of their relationship, the resolving of schemes that has haunted him since childhood, his fiancée, the thing with his mother… so many thing to look forward !

Good light-hearted story, love the MC. World-building is simple and great. Story itself is really enjoyable, once I started reading, I couldn’t stop !
