Great setup for a story!

I like the novel a lot, the real world chronology is just kinda off, the story starts in around 80 bc, but the colosseum was built around 70 AD.

I have just begun reading this novel and I have to say, the grammar is awful. The author should just ask someone with better English skills to edit his chapters a bit. I will continue reading it, in the hope that the author increases their English skills.
