Yeah sure, ignore the Parfait Icecream you can find in japan...
It was natural for them to be surprised first by the appearance and then by the taste. Most Japanese shaved ice is just syrup poured over it, so this style is rare, which is why people were even more impressed. I had even gone to Korea myself and bought them all because I kept craving them. Of course, they were a bit expensive, but the taste was definitely worth it. I hate it when story turn braindead like this. I don't care if he is good or bad. What I want to see is coherence. But here what was the point in killing 300 people to show off. He could literally do anything. There was thousands better way to show his power but for absolutely no reasons, he just sent a bomb on top of innocent people. And he doesn't care at all. Rin isn't even trying to use her Command Seal to make him suicide.
