It is... just so good. There are other reviewers more eloquent than myself, but of all the books I've dived, few have made me regret not having a physical copy like this one.
The writing is a bit repetitive, and things feel developed too quickly at the start. The estrus cycles and pheromones don't feel impactful to the plot, which is sad because that's the whole point of Omegaverse, but overall it's pretty decent. It's an average story for an average reader and that's okay. All in all, I'd give it 5 stars just for being a Yuri Omegaverse, but I'm too critical for that.
I'm not prone to writing reviews, and when I do I prefer to put 4 stars because there is always something better out there. With this, however, it deserves better than my usual. When I pursue books on sites like this, the writing is often subpar, or the translation is worse still. I enjoy the read because I'm desperate for a good story, especially with FXF romance. Still, it has been at least a year now since I've come across a story where I felt unable to peel away, wanted to spend money to get deeper, and wished I could have a physical copy as a forever reminder that I read it; This is the book that broke my monotonous streak of suffering through bad writing for good stories, and my god is the story good. I want more.
