The reason of course is that they are different and more light will be shed on that in a different story arc later on. As for the demon king, I understand your point, but also, why does the demon king have to conveniently appear in the story only after the main character has developed and established himself? I just thought, hey, not everything has to be convenient, and it all plays a good role at setting the stage for many other things to come, it wasn't just out there for the sake of it. Yes, that is true, but there are two reasons for that. tye first one is that I haven't fixed my laptop and can only write either on my phone or when I borrow a laptop from someone, and I'm also writing exams now, so I don't have a lot of free time, so I can't stockpile chapters as I would normally do, which would make releasing more easy. My exams will be done in a week and half, when I get home I'll fix my laptop and with exams out of the way, I'll be able to focus. As for Lance, the main power up arc is coming after this arc. Again, I'm really sorry I couldn't fulfill the promise of two chapters a day, my laptop failing me really messed up a lot.
