ur right, it isn't necessarily a key factor. for some clubs at least. look at Real Madrid, when having had the chance to sign Ronaldinho, they didn't because the club's hierarchy under President Florentino Perez felt he lacked the commercial appeal and "handsome" image. hence signing Beckham instead, it can be a key factor, just depends who's on the other side ngl.
