Honestly? This was and perhaps still is one of my favorite novels, but from the chapters after the "betrayal," it seems that every choice the protagonist makes and every event is against him to "create" difficult situations that, however, feel forced... See how Kyle's identity was not revealed by Lily, see how Alex twice drained his cosmic reserves right before important events, and now how this "bond" that has given him a weakness rather than a "Power UP"...
So to recap, there are 3 timelines : 1)Where Leon's soul is inserted into Edward and leads to the destruction of Sancta Vedelia rewritten by Nevia; 2)Where Nyrel's soul is inserted into Amael Falkrona (son of Nihili) who however dies before fulfilling Nihil's "goal"; 3)The one we witness where the memories of the Amael/Nyrel are inserted into Edward giving him the "feeling" of having lived the lives of both Amael and Nyrel but in reality his soul is only that of Amael Idea Olphean son of Alea and Kleins... Okay, so upon discovery our MC will finally be able to "accept" the fact that he is not a possessor of the body but the rightful owner... But this also means that in Claudia's vision of the prophecy the white-haired figure in Alea's arms cannot be Amael since he himself is Amael...So, Connor?
I think this choice is to get his elements "recognised" and reveal to everyone that he is still alive... His sister's presence is also a clue but he probably won't come out with a landslide victory without his cosmic essence even though after the "betrayal" we all wanted a little revenge from that point of view
Classic cliche where the MC faces his "rivals" not at full power... Too bad because this novel had deviated from the trend but apparently we should put up with a "difficult" duel for the MC despite being totally superior...
Let's hope the little "nerf" of not being able to use the cosmic essence doesn't turn what should be a landslide victory into a difficult duel... After the "betrayal" and the whole story of the "devil himself" like Lucifer Morningstar the MC has the opportunity to really show who is the strongest
In the prophecy there is a boy with white hair in Alea's arms... I thought it was Connor who was somehow alive like Kleines but at this point I think that boy is Amael "split" from Edward
Obviously ! Maybe we even make them fall in love with each other first and then we have Alicia killed right before the MC's eyes! An unexpected scene that has never been seen in this novel 👌
Our MC's last chance at redemption... Let's see if he'll grow balls and finally come back stronger or have Alicia killed in the past too
I'm calling the MC by the name Amael but I might call him Edward too. I'm not referring to the single identity, we have read all the chapters in which Edward meets Nyr and Amael in his subconscious. This aspect of the novel has nothing to do with the actions of the MC or Edward as you want to call him. Whether it's because of Amael's "Heroic" appearance or Nyr's anger (which is constantly suppressed in reality otherwise we would be talking about another novel) the MC's actions in the last 300+ chapters are questionable.
