You are correct! Someone actually understood why I got him to summon the port first before the ship. Hahahahaha!
No one really needs to be a soldier to understand military structure. Besides, other than the medieval ages and revolutionary era, no generals have been on the front line with their soldiers. They mainly stay behind to maintain the chain of command. So, what I'm trying to say is that even if he was a former general, it would have ended the same way. Also, I apologize for sounding aggressive.
I think that most people would act the same if a stranger they knew decided to you know. Jump off a ship. But, yeah I agree that I might not have portrayed their relationship well.
Then you're just asking for another story. The protagonist has been written since the first chapter, complaining him for being normal doesn't matter to me. And even if he's a retired general, you really think he'll be on the field with his soldiers? Do you even know how modern military works? Him overshadowed doesn't mean anything since he doesn't have to teach his subordinates to do things his way like they're toddlers.
Otherworlders wouldn't understand how to use them. Blue prints would be useless since the resources and materials needed to build the blue print would have blue prints of their own. Even if they know how to build or use them, Abraham wouldn't give such technology to begin with. After all, its the only thing he has against the magic of this world.
The random gacha only spits out modern ship of any nations, but other era ships can be introduced through the usual special banners of gacha, But at the moment, I don't consider bringing in ships from different eras, since I would find it hard for them to integrate greatly into fleets with their different naval doctrines. For the next question, yes, he would gain nuclear ballistic missiles if the warship is equipped with it. Though, as said in the story, the armaments, munitions, and ordnance, don't replenish themselves. So, everything must be used wisely. Hope you enjoyed the story!
