The only characters that I had to spin my own twist on is Griselda because she doesn’t appear in the anime. I’m using the Lord title because Gabriel is known as a dude by believers. The only people who know Gabriel is a girl are people from the supernatual world. It makes sense to me for people to refer to her as a Lord. I’m not calling Asia a Lord because she’s known to be a girl. Reading FF and watching the anime are two different things. Yes, I read FF and thought it would be fun to write a FF. FF arent the best if you want to remember the story correctly. This story is an AU because I really didn't want to follow the canon, and I just haven't seen DxD in a while; plus, I have a terrible memory. Issei's going to have something to do later on in the story, but he's not really needed right now. He will likely show up when I write about Rias and Riser's marriage, which is maybe in 7-10 chapters, depending on what route of the story I want to take. I just lowkey forgot about him when I was writing. Sorry if this doesn't answer some of your questions.
