The last chapter showed him using Mine Blessing to kill creatures. This chapter begins with him experimenting and how he came up with the idea of using fire as a mine, then transitions back to the present .

I don't think so, the flow is pretty straightforward.

He said those words to the Goddess two chapters back, in Chapter 4, after asking what would happen when he died. Those words echoed in his mind like a whisper.

It’s not out of context, I think. I explained in the first few chapters how Idol Cassian Jonathan died.

These are monsters that grew this large by surviving in a harsh realm; they won’t die easily.

That’s why he’s having a hard time climbing the sand mountain, he doesn’t know how; he’s just climbing blindly.
