I know this is already finished but, to me, the story went from epic to just entertaining when it lost any kind of seriousness it had. It was always like 70% jokes, but as it progressed and it started to just jump into random worlds it became 95% cracky jokes without any seriousness or real plot to ground it. When it comes to Cornbringer, you are so right, the reviews in any of his stories are useless, because its filled with "5/5 OMG another Cornbringer story, let me drop on my knees and unzip..." reviews, even if the story is actually trash.
i have never done hard drugs, but reading this story makes me feel like i did.
Well, i would preffer Grunt to eat the guy, not use him as an example. Both would be morally bankrupt actions, but one would make him a step crazier than punisher, and the other would turn him into a trashy villain.
Maybe star wars a little too, but that one would still be in 3rd place.
Mass effect was the only world that was taken at least a little seriously, after that it just became a fever dream of jokes and wishfulfilment. Maybe Halo was taking a little bit serious too, but to a lesser degree. So its probably better if they dont go back to mass effect universe to fuch that part of the story.
Well, if it is a SI fic you can still trash on him. But it could be interesting since the mc would be in a place to try to change Miranda sooner, warning Shepard about them since early on. And probably even getting some extra info or using "serverus info" as an excuse to reveal game knowledge.
Anderson was epic, he ranks higher than a few of the actual tem members, including Jacob... And Jacob never had anything especial, be it in his skills or his personality. I didnt particularly hate him, but also didnt like him much. But the events in the 3rd game, if you had chosen to romance him, did lower my opinion of him a lot.
Okay, good, i was not the only one who thought about this.
Thank god that there is no friendly fire in Mass effect, otherwise Shepard would be gone after this.
Yes, it seems like he deserved to die and never reincarnate again.
His game already warned him that there are mutants, then he kept meeting characters that had many coincidences with Marvel characters, and the most famous streamer for his game is a guy named Ned with a friend called PParker...
And aparently he is also mentally challenged.
Okay, this is simply becoming dumb. The mc knows that mutants are real, but he is acting like he has absolutely no human intelligence and is unable to connect the dots.
Achievements, exploration and building the most insane things posible. And automatization too, there is something fun about being able to build some kind of automatic farm for something, be it food or a particular material.
Mc knows there are mutants, sees a character named Rogue, asking if he felt anything while touching her, and somehow he doesnt even think of the posibility of being that famous Rogue.
