Not super related to chapter, but I don't really like how Mia consistently sides against her brother. Feels like it downplays his significance to her and that she prioritizes 1. their parents over his autonomy of whether he would reveal himself to them, and now 2. Her friend/her own individualism over his wellbeing/their sibling relationship. Just a minor thing bugging me.
Loving the story so far. Surprisingly good world building and depth of characters. Only issue is that the love interests randomly become infatuated with the mc, which I think is poorly written. Aside from that, it's a great story.
