Well not trying to spoil it for you but mc has 2 personalitys and the one in charge is basicly a ai running rampant with only one program which is get powerful so in my opnion your critisism shows you havnt read the story while fully understanding the plot.. dont get me wrong theres alot to critisize but literally what your complaining about is explained in the plot.. god put manmade personality into shang into alex and both reader and mc dosnt know were alex ends and shang begins until you read the last few chapters though its still pretty obvious what is happening if you read between the lines.. all the times mc is struggling with what he has done its actually alex struggling with shang
If compared to a webnovel 4.5/5 If compared to actual books 2/5 The start of the story is great as there is decent char. Delvelopment but because of the premise then it all falls to the wayside.. MC kills all the hard work the author did early in the story on worldbuilding and likeable characters but thats cause of the premise of the story.. theres some very original ways of storytelling but the last 500 chapters its like your reading about MC in vacuum and cause of that it feels like theres no risk even when things goes horrible.. also author repeats himself over and over again whenever he explaines the dynamics of cultivation/training which becomes boring (talking about the concepts). all that being said this is one of the better written stories prob. Top 10 but the author shot himself in the foot with the premise.. When shang was power buffed by 3 mages and jerald was like "kill em all" that was by far the peek after that it fell off hard.
