fair enough. being an author is tough. perhaps take a few days and draw up a map on how you want to progress if you haven't already. an dont be afraid to spend a couple of more chapters on an idea, ppl love world building and lore. makes the story more interesting and compelling to read. guess my last piece of advice is probably read some other novels and take notes on how they do things. not trying to sound preachy, I assume you already are doing these things, just taking the time to write this to maybe spark an idea for you.

I see. just to give some feedback some of the language is a bit awkward and it feels like you are rushing to do a lot, without taking the time to dive into your ideas and give them their time. I know you have an editior, he may have a take on this or not. either way might be worth while to review this chapter with them, an perhaps it could help with your writing/style. just my opinion on areas you could improve. not sure how others feel about it. just want you to make the best story that you can and convey it.

At least the other novel, which he also dropped, indicated that he was gonna drop the story for the foreseeable future. the author hasn't had the decency to Update the bio for this novel and/or leave a comment on the last chapter he published. leaving the readers in the dark. hence the low review, it does provide feedback, I explained it in the original post you just lack reading comprehension or just conducting mental gymnastics. also his "main" novel probably was earning better at the time. but this novel is definitely better in terms of views per chapter.

how is it silly? webnovel 1 dimensional rating system doesnt account for authors dropping novels out of the blue or an indication. the most accurate way to convey this a 1 star review which will attract attention to other potential readers to save their time.
