The only other line of defense they had was a poor excuse of a trip alarm. They had the right idea, putting cans on a string, but the string was flimsy and likely to break. Not to mention they had none of the cans knotted to together for them to knock against each other. - swaggyp_2dCommented

There were quite a lot of people here, nearly 50, and it seemed like they didn't get many walker scares by the way they talked last night. This seemed to be a safe place as even now they had someone on watch on top the RV. Later that night the entire camp was split up into different groups of low campfires. Andrea and her sister Amy had all but adopted me, pulling me around from clothes to food and then finally sitting beside them at the fire. "Just something I feel like I should do." He replied getting out of the car. After the the showers at the prison he had changed into his old uniform. I guess it was a comfort thing, as I couldn't see a reason for such a getup. He also had his revolver he had talked about now. It wasn't my choice in firearms, limiting the ammo you could have ready, as well as having a lot more kick than a smaller caliber gun. Felt like overkill to me personally, unless we ran into a walker wearing some kind of armor I guess. - swaggyp_3dCommented"What is that thing?" Rick said, thankfully still keeping his voice low. - swaggyp_3dCommentedRick was right, there wasn't much here. The batteries from the humvees had been looted, only the smallest bits of oil and gas remained in the drums. I was able to find a military issue Beretta M9 that was stashed in one of the humvees under a seat with 1 extra mags, meaning 30 total rounds between the two 15 round mags. This made me think though. Mother had taught me about the guns of different countries and who used what. The US armies were pretty much all swapped over to a SIG Sauer, usually M17 or M18, after it won the Army's handgun competition in 2017.
