This story is still in the early chapters but honestly, I am hooked. It is so good I can't stop reading. I LOVE REN, he seems so mysterious and strong and I feel so sad about Astor, I hope he gets to have a better life there.
Also, author your writing is amazing! Please keep up the good work!
"Because he sold you." Ren stated. Astor tilted his head to the side, trying to understand what he meant, wide eyes filled with curiosity. "Your brother sold you to my pack to pay off his debt," he added, making everything clear.
Werewolves were generally beautiful creatures in an earthy way. They belonged to the forest, they were a part of it but this man before him was so much more. He looked as if he was born to rule it, to reign above the earth and reach every corner of the moon. To own every piece of the land and order every person that dared to step on what was his. His presence was dominant, and his appearance almost as if he had come out of a dream could make anyone fall for him with just a mere stare. He held so much power to the point that Astor felt scared and ashamed, small in front of him.
"Do you really have the time to be playing judge when you owe me money, you lowly dog?" the rough voice of a man was heard and Astor raised his tired head again, wanting to catch a glimpse of the man who had just insulted his brother.
"Your pretty mum would be so disappointed in you." One of them offended him. Astor grabbed his leg, raising his bruised face to meet that person's eyes. He would remember his face, remember his words for the day he would get to make them pay. For the day he was so patiently waiting.
It was always offputting. This feeling of being all alone while surrounded by people. It almost messed with his head, making him believe that there was something wrong with him. How could he feel so utterly forgotten when people were walking right by him? Astor felt like a shadow, someone who could be seen only to be ignored as if he blended in the background, nothing really special, nothing really to pay attention to.
He did so and immediately the gauge started to rise, it looked like a old thermometer of his world. The maximum that could be reached was 1000 and the gauge stopped at 180.
