At least he's not doing nothing, while he may not be focusing on physical strength which is a little disappointing he is still training fuinjutsu a lot (which in my opinion has more potential than taijutsu for the MC)

i think something like self actualisation would be interesting, like saying "I can fly" and being able to fly. Basically what you say about yourself becomes true (with limits of course)

I'd say you've done a pretty good job so far, the only thing that's felt a little off is Jay but that could be explained by him being a little different early on in his relationship with Gloria compared to after a couple years, if you know what I mean
