It takes a higher “intellect” to understand a subject to the point of achieving a PhD. Understanding goes a long way towards being considered smart. More often than not people are aren’t born smart but you can become smart.

Ochaco is a terrible character, no development of any kind through out canon and shes forgettable as hell. A completely background character brought to the front. One of the worst character in all of mha imo. Again just look at here she’s basic and boring as hell.
