Hao didn't stop her from pursuing swordsmanship, he even said they could pursue the peak together. What was her reply? To reach the peak, she would have to abandon everything. When she is of age, she would come to marry him and have children and then, after a few years, go her own way. And you say Hao is being insecure. He even sent her back from Heavenly Gate pass and reassured her to continue her sword path cuz he knew she was only with him due to her guilt. This is insecurity? Are you serious or this is just a troll and I feel for it?
Okay, so Li Hao sends her back because she was only with him due to her guilt. She only needed his assurance that he would be fine, and she went back to her sword practice....and you call this Hao throwing her away? She goes to a higher world without a word to him, thinks he can't keep up with her and breaks off all emotions and attachments. And for Qingyue, I think her change is due to Hao's influence. She comprehended gentle sword almost to the entering dao realm WITHOUT a master. Ruxue is the sword saint's disciple. I highly doubt she would not have improved further. Besides, her outlook of the world changed, she began to see Hao as a friend. She still loves her sword but is aware that there are other meaningful things in life. For her, cultivation is a means for achieving a life where she can be herself and do what she wants without anyone's interference, including the saints. I guess she became more 'Human' after Hao came to her life? I agree, author could have added more details as to what went through her mind over time instead of this somewhat abrupt development, but I don't mind her character now.
Ruxue's motivation - achieve ultimate swordsmanship. Why? Coz it's cool? And in your opinion, it makes her a better character 😑. Loses her emotions and everything that makes her herself just to reach the peak, so that she can do what? Know what it feels like? Qingyue's motivation - to be free, to pursue swordsmanship ( cuz she loves it ), to have meaningful relationships through her life journey and not abandon everything else for the sake of cultivation. I personally relate with her a lot. Otherwise, what's the point of cultivation if you only cultivate for the sake of it. It feels shallow. And why wouldn't Haotian give her everything he could when she saved him and has become a dear friend to him.
yup it's dragging on
well, imo Qianqian was with him throughout his journey as he was sent to the Heavenly Gate pass, with life and death uncertain. She wants to become stronger to stand by Li Hao's side. There was a beautiful interaction between the two when she said she was afraid she could only gaze from the bottom as he stood at the peak. He responded, he will always come to the bottom and tell her about the scenery above. When Li Hao was thought to be dead in the Ji family, and appeared in Gate pass, she got so emotional and started crying hugging him. He told her he still has a lot to teach her in swordsmanship ( so he won't die). She wanted to say she didn't care about that. It's fine as long as he comes back....but just couldn't say. I guess that's why I have a soft spot for her. I wish the author showed us a bit more about her♥️ But hey, everyone has opinions 😉
Nope, she ties with Ren Qianqian
so satisfying 😁 beat those sh*ts to death!!
Quite predictable but enjoyable nonetheless. I would say it is more of a stress reliever 😅
