It is sad to see a work with so much potential be ruined, my advice is, make the protagonist independent of the help of others, and complete the revenge against EVERYONE who ended his life, including his sister, mother, father, teachers and colleagues, "forgiveness is not an option, revenge to be able to move on is the way."
