Probably that he can create things and then through external methods, can apply some form of permanence to his shadow creations even after releasing said shadows. So if he had the means, he could make a castle out of shadow,freeze it, and then release it, and still have a castle

I’m loving every second of this. I’ve wanted to spin the block on Winter Beast since Falcon Scott fell. Honestly, this really is what I am asking for, but it would be even cooler if sunny and Kai fought the Winger beast together. Let it be known that I am aware that this doesn’t make sense and would NOT actually happen. I’m just saying it would look amazing to see Sunny on top of a massive black dragon facing an elusive figure clad in a massive blizzard. Sounds like a painting.

Staying in the Shell for such a long time was potentially dangerous now that Sunny did not possess a True Name, but the Onyx Serpent form was one of the few that he could assume without the risk of losing himself — perhaps it was because he knew it so well, or perhaps it was because he shared a kinship with serpentine creatures as an inheritor of Shadow God. - Nevinsforehead6dReplied to faiz_sharif
No serpent has abilities that sunny can apply to himself in his shadow shell serpent form. Serpent(shadow) has a natural essence replenishing affect upon the defeat of an opponent, a boost to essence control, and can make itself more dangerous. That last one is what it used to make Sunny’s fangs stronger.
Sunny used the [Serpentine Steel] Ability of the Soul Serpent to augment his fangs, and fought the harrowing depth dwellers to replenish his essence through its [Soul Reaver] Ability, which allowed Serpent to absorb and transfer a portion of soul essence of all beings slain by it in the Soul Weapon or the Soul Beast forms. - Nevinsforehead6dReplied to Jene_4353
Yes but that could also be because he wasn’t in a fight and just swimming? I’m not sure because it doesn’t say, but I’m assuming he was just swimming. We know the wrath he experiences in the serpent form gets enhanced greatly during battle and bloodlust. I’d assume just a swim wouldn’t be a problem. Now that he is a saint, I also think that the mind shattering aspect of shadow shell won’t have as terrible effects on sunny.
Crossing the ocean alone had not been easy. Turning into the Onyx Serpent, Sunny dove into the lightless depths, where the darkness nurtured his soul and was rich in spirit essence. Except that’s not how G3 thinks of shadows. That would be how normal shadows work but not shadows. And I’m not talking about Sunny’s shadows or that he is a shadow or the shadows in the lantern. I’m talking about shadows.

I think this means that sunny has finally come to accept the weight that Cassie has held on her shoulders all this time. It seems he truly has forgiven her and I think that’s fantastic. We love Cassie

Okay so it looks like Cassie has feelings for someone. Genuinely I’m kinda scared to find out who. Personally it would throw me off if it was Mordret. Because I don’t want a reason to try and accept him as a person. I like him as a villain or agent of revenge or whatever he is right now. And I accept that he is not a great person. Our Cassie deserves better. That leaves me with Kai and Sunny. Sunny is kinda already taken. And with Kai, I’d for sure like to pair the two but I just don’t see G3 letting me be happy. BESIDES THAT, I need sunny to make a memory, and hopefully a weapon for someone soon. Raon was cool, but I feel like him making a weapon for Rain or Kai would be sick.

Real sunny is in bastion, second is with rain, third is in godgrave. Third has all his shadows with him except for the coffer that is with sunny number one or the real sunny.

My first reaction was to think that asterion might be allied with valor. But that is definitely not the case. There are so many reasons as to why that’s not possible. Second is that the dude that created the dreamscape think where they did the battle tournament, has now become a saint. He was associated with valor I believe and was their when Sunny(Mongrel) first met Morgan. I guess it wouldn’t be hard for Sunny to notice either because of pretty much everything he can do can counter a mirage. He can sense what shadows are real and fake. How “deep” they are. The mind trick aspect of the mirage probably doesn’t work on someone whose mind is as trained as his. There is probably an essence barrier as well that would allow someone to overcome the mirage if they have more essence than the creator as well. On top of that soul weave boost his essence further and Sunny is also a Saint.
