it definitely was full of deep holes and a lot of divergence and changes from Canon from celeborn and celebrian to the character of Halbrand and Sauron dying and resurrected to the wrong timeline of numenor and etc

and I actually liked the rings of power plot since making a show by following the long and lengthy process of Canon second age events is very tough and not something for video
