Thanks for the chapter. But don’t got the UA route. Its done to death so much that you can most likely predict future story beats by doing so, cuz I know no author (those whose fics I read) are gonna change the USJ, sports festival, or Camp arcs. Same sequence of events (with minor to no deviation) cuz it’s pivotal for some characters in the story that replacing them with something else is really difficult. No diss to u author, I just don’t see how anyone would want to change these events and have them being a good payoff for both story wise and reader satisfaction.
Yeah, but that feels like such hollow reasoning. Imagine just going to a school for heroes for 3 years just for some points. Like I am not going to sit in school for hours on end just to get some arbitrary points that help my power grow. That just makes me feel like a slave to my power, in which I am not using the power but the power using me. And what will the MC do besides farm points? Join Class 1A or worse 1B? Becoming a hero himself later? The very things he said he doesn’t like nor want to be? Also the story beat gets so boring in UA. After reading the same sequence of events over and over, it gets boring.
It is so dull now that I skip fics that have it as a premise.
Don’t go. Why would we go to UA at all? Sure the extra points would be nice but from a character standpoint, why would the MC go? To hang with Mei more? Sure. Get points? Sure. But that’s it. Not to mention how done to death it is that a character goes to UA for the *reasons they must when really they don’t*. It makes no sense character-wise for the MC. If u do go with UA, then he CANNOT go to the hero course, maybe not even support. Hear me out, him not going to hero course is in-character and makes sense for the story cuz he doesn’t really believe/have faith/ want to be with/in them. Support course could also be out as I just don’t see him doing it besides spending more time with Mei. Not saying it’s bad, cuz it allows for more interaction between them and deepen our attachment to their perspectives, but because it feels hollow if our MC goes to support course. Why go learn a course that is 3 years long when it isn’t even allign with his dream nor goal (that being a author/mangaka). It would be like learning rocket science when u r trying for being an artist. It makes no sense and is a waste of your life. If he doesn’t go then I feel it will be more interesting and in-character. Our MC already has a job, which is helping in the store and being an author/mangaka. Points are already generated just by him interacting with the world, especially since he will build a name for himself with the way he’s going on these nightly excursions. Not to mention other interesting people he can meet or interact with outside of UA. Villains and Vigilantes and just some guy being interacted with would peak interest more. Hell you could even build up other characters. And let’s be honest, the going to UA route is done to death. Lord knows how many readers have read the exact same routine of UA. It’s stale (for me anyways). If u do then I hope to GOD that u somehow make it work.
I guess since its an SI/OC that readers automatically assume they will know everything, which is disappointing as u already had the MC acknowledge early on in the first few chapters that he didn’t know much of MHA after a certain point. People forget easily I guess 🤷.
Thanks for the chapter. So this was a nice little viewing of a potentially recurring character, and how our MC deals with the fact others from the orphanage could be heroes. He obviously disapproves but won’t get in their way, hiding his real feelings on it from them.
We did it boys!!! We beat the Harem sect!!! Never thought this was possible, especially when audiences can vote on it.
Yeab but main continuity never revealed this, or at least as far as I or the MC know. Stendhal is a character in the Spinoff series of MHA called MHA: Vigilante I believe. So if our MC never read or heard of the spinoff then it tracks. Hell, I didnt know of this shit till reading it rn. Just searched it up. Kinda shocked ngl. Also, assuming any character that is skilled with a sword to be Stain could be a huge error, which could cost your life.
Tq for telling me how to delete a comment 🫡
One day he will be able to make enough clones to write with that Rohan himself would acknowledge the achievement
