Others making fun of him for gaining a seemingly impossible to use ability is pretty cliche in chinese novels and this novel is completely different except starting so I would say "dont completely judge a book by its starting" . In my opinion dont read that shitty manhua as it far worse than it's novel as in manhua they changed the story too much and tried to sexualised the dragons while making the characters too shallow . You can easily find it on mtl .

Plot and idea were good but as story progressed it quickly went downhill . The starting chapters upto like 60 is just info dump that doesn't hold any significance currently or in near future . Author just keeps dumping mechanics with no exciting battles or adventures. Just a family/sect/empire/commerce building novel with mc doing nothing but chilling,fucking and having op items to use given by his parents,system and world will. While world building was good but author had to make it too complicated by giving him several things to develop if he just made a family and cultivated with the never ending resources,cultivation techniques,physique and items he had while exploring the world that would have been pretty good story but author fucked up. Overall it was pretty boring and complicated while It could have been fun. In my opinion dont waste your time on this.

One of the best chinese novel i have ever read. The world building is very good . The story pace differs from time to time,generally it's good. Never feels repetitive,always new content and adventures. Very less plot holes(which is unlikely in chinese novels)and some old characters and things are not forgotten and shown again in new chapters. Overall this is definitely worth your time. Very highly recommend.

Nah,if it is something that precious then demon emperor would have taken it long ago.
