For a family portrayed as powerful and feared even if it's just the father, it's baffling that they wouldn’t anticipate their enemies targeting them at their most vulnerable moment—right after childbirth. In a fantasy world where some women bounce back immediately, the mother being weak feels like a convenient plot device rather than a believable circumstance.

Should it be void, an absolute nothingness—a complete absence of all things. Null, I think, is the absence of value, meaning, or purpose. Null could represent nonexistence in a conceptual or functional sense, as if something has no meaning, worth, or power.
