It started off well since the MC grows stronger little by little and the story is a slow burn. Unfortunately the romance is awful because he constantly lies to his lovers. In fact by the end of the story his first lover with whom he had a child never learns his true identity. To make matters worse he completely neglects his child. To top it off the ending is pure garbage. Basically all the main villains that were built up over 500 chapters get defeated in less than 3 chapters. Just disappointing.
A disappointing fanfic. The story is full of plot holes. At one moment they might say something, and in the very next chapter they forget it or it simply changes to something completely different. Aside from this, the MC has the power to travel to different worlds and you would think that, given the number of chapters, the story would be well-detailed, but that's not the case. Every time he arrives in a new world there is an endless amount of time skips and, basically, he spends most of his time just talking. A prime example of this is when he goes to Narnia: in simple terms, he arrives, the White Witch discovers him and takes him to her castle. He then spends months just sitting in her castle, and then there's a time skip to the battle against Aslan. But he doesn't even get involved. The White Witch just sends him away and that's literally all he did in Narnia. This pattern repeats itself constantly through most of the story. As for the romance, the protagonist is incredibly dense. He has Hermione and Pansy chasing after him, but he even makes Hermione cry before finally confirming their relationship after 300 chapters. On top of that, throughout almost the entire story, it is hinted that Pansy has a plan, but in the end, they completely forget about her. I could go on and on mentioning many other flaws, like Snape's unnecessary death in the final chapters, but this would go on for too long, so I will just say that, personally, I don't recommend it.
I never read the original novel but I decided to read this fanfic and I must say it serves to distract you for a while. The beginning of the story is confusing because it overloads you with the introduction of many characters but in general the protagonist does things well. Sometimes he is a bit ruthless for my taste and could have made better decisions but he is cautious and thanks to this he avoids situations that could have been unpleasant. Regarding romance he treats all his wives well and has children with them; I would say it lacked more development in that aspect but overall it is acceptable. If you like the protagonist to be strong from the beginning and develop his strength little by little and antagonize Tang San throughout the whole story you will enjoy it.
The story is good but it starts to fall off toward the end. I think it drags on for way too long. The protagonist’s growth is steady and makes sense throughout the plot but the story is stretched out so much that he needs to wait half a century just for Frodo to be born and destroy the Ring. This is because he supposedly couldn't infiltrate Mordor himself which honestly I find a bit absurd. The main problem in my opinion starts once Sauron is defeated. There are several time skips and suddenly in just a few chapters he gains powers that turn him into a Valar. All of this happens very fast compared to everything he went through to defeat Sauron. After becoming a Valar he defeats the final boss who was barely mentioned during the story which feels weird. Lastly the romance was fine. He has a nice relationship with Arwen. They get married and have kids so I have no complaints there.
In my opinion the story dragged on for far too long. The protagonist already has the necessary power and the capacity to increase his strength rapidly on multiple occasions yet he prefers to be conspiring behind the scenes. Honestly it feels like many characters had their intellectual capacity lowered for the sake of the plot. As for the romance don’t expect much. The protagonist is basically super handsome and every woman likes him just by seeing him. Besides he is constantly killing his wives' relatives and they magically don’t notice anything.
The story starts off well but it eventually becomes chaotic and a bit confusing. In simple terms the protagonist starts the story wanting to die to gain more power but plot armor simply won't let him. Regarding the romance don't expect much. In every arc he makes the heroines fall for him in pretty absurd ways then he leaves that era and abandons them for thousands of years. Even though he keeps saying he takes responsibility and doesn't deny his relationships he never actually visits the women from his past and they are always the ones who have to look for him. Like I said don't expect much from the romance in this story.
The story includes elements from other worlds like Pokemon or Sakura Card Captor. Personally I don’t mind that but the story dragged on way too long. Honestly there comes a point where the protagonist is strong enough to defeat everyone yet he keeps dragging things out for no real reason using the excuse that it’ll earn him more points with his system. But the way he actually earns the most points is by getting Hogwarts students to spend money so that excuse doesn’t really make sense. Besides that I don’t get why he promises Fleur she’ll be the first one he sleeps with and then right after that he sleeps with someone else especially when that relationship wasn’t even properly developed at the time. At the end of the story it is mentioned that the other girl is something like his “soulmate” almost as a way to justify what happened even though it’s never directly stated. Anyway you could say that if you don’t mind other series’ elements being mixed in and you don’t mind the protagonist dragging things out or sometimes acting like an idiot with the girls you can read it casually without much trouble.
The story is entertaining, but it doesn’t have any romance or harem elements. The main character starts off weak, but his power level increases very quickly, to the point where his improvements are no longer mentioned. He becomes so strong that if he gained new abilities, the author would have to create new power levels for them. Aside from that, he is a selfish protagonist who doesn’t care about killing anyone if it helps him get the results he wants. Deep down, he does care about the main characters, so he helps them more than others, but he wouldn’t hesitate to kill them if necessary. There are also several parts where chapters seem to be skipped, which can be confusing. Finally, the story doesn’t have a detailed ending. The protagonist completes the system’s mission, but we don’t even see him claim the reward, which was his goal from the beginning. It is only mentioned that there will be separate endings for each parallel world, but they were not translated.
Finished reading all the chapters and honestly it's not worth your time. The protagonist is an arrogant idiot who only cares about women with big breasts. He claims to love them but basically just sleeps with them and then either forgets about them or leaves for another world. That's exactly what happened with Aiz. Half of the story takes place in the Danmachi world and right after sleeping with her and confirming their relationship he leaves that world and never comes back. On top of that he learns several sword techniques but they are all nerfed. He claims they can only be used as finishers because they consume all his mana, which makes no sense since he basically has gigantic amounts of mana in the later stages of the story.
The story is full of inconsistencies and almost everyone admires the protagonist to an absurd level. In many chapters the narration constantly describes how great and incredible he is. Character personalities also change a lot. For example Akainu ends up forgiving pirates just because the protagonist tells him to with no objections at all. To make things even worse the protagonist himself is extremely inconsistent. He constantly brags about never forgiving slave traders or evil pirates and executes them all yet he still forgives Doflamingo. A few chapters later the king of Dressrosa claims that everything has improved thanks to the protagonist simply telling the Shichibukai to do better. This makes no sense especially considering everything Doflamingo did to the Dressrosa royal family. Regarding romance the protagonist spends most of the story going to brothels. By the end Kalifa becomes his secretary and Boa Hancock is apparently his partner although this is never clearly confirmed. The story also introduces a system that gives items with different colors based on rarity but in practice only the highest value items are ever mentioned and the rest are completely ignored. In short this is a story full of clichés with an overpowered protagonist who succeeds at everything from the very beginning. If you like this type of story then go ahead but keep everything mentioned above in mind.
