Not all novels written by Chinese authors are fanfics. The fact is, it’s inaccurate to generalize all novels written by Chinese authors when not all authors are the same, especially when sometimes the problem itself is with the translations.

I thought it was mainly because of his hate towards the third hokage in particular or am I remembering wrong? Plus I don’t specifically remember the author changing Naruto’s character model to much, Naruto have hated allot of people and things in the original and eventually got over it. Heck he hated Pain after what he did to Konoha and Hinata yet for some reason still decided to talk to him at the end instead of just straight up killing him. He so known for his “bright/positive side” attitude that it got to the point of fans thinking it was because of Ashura’s chakra forcing him into the path of a hero so I don’t see anything particularly wrong with this especially since the third hokage is dead and Kurama chakra is known for amplifying negative emotions.
