Wow. A story where the author actually understands football, and it's not even a translation? Great quality. I hope you won't abandon it. 5 out of 5.
Oh, this is rich. No, truly —I haven’t laughed this hard since Blizzard claimed they still care about their fans. You wrote, and I quote: “The most over-hyped and underwhelming fanfic on this platform... 2.2/5 overall... Below average and over-hyped. The fanfic equivalent of Bethesda’s Starfield.” And yet, somehow, you’ve managed to twist your soggy neurons into a knot because I dared — dared — to mention the sacred cow of every terminally online weeb: the bloody harem. Let’s break this down, shall we? You rip the fic to shreds, say the BNHA arc should be a crime, admit it never fully recovers, call it underwhelming, below average, and yet when I come along and say, “Hey, it kinda went downhill when it started reading like an incel’s power fantasy,” you clutch your pearls like I just pissed on your waifu shrine. Where was this righteous outrage when you were dragging the story through the mud? Or does criticism only count when it’s not directed at your precious anime thirst bait? Genuinely curious — how do you hold such contradictory opinions without your skull imploding from the vacuum? Your logic is so backwards I’m surprised it doesn’t walk itself into oncoming traffic. You talk like a critic until someone touches your "emotional support harem", then suddenly you’re a Reddit mod defending his self-insert fantasy like it’s high art. You don’t want critique. You want validation — the pathetic, mewling kind. “I hated the BNHA arc and think it’s massively overrated, but how dare you insult the harem, you meanie!” Mate, get a grip. You can’t throw stones and then cry when one bounces back and smacks you between the eyes. If you’re going to dish out harsh ratings and dramatic metaphors — “a crime against fanfiction”, really? — then at least have the backbone to let others do the same without crying foul like someone just deleted your hentai folder. But sure, let’s pretend I’m the problem. Not you, not the author, not the horny derailment of the plot into waifu-collecting side quests — just me, for noticing the obvious. Here’s a revolutionary idea: try consistency. Either be a critic or a simp — not both in the same breath. Watching you flail between the two is like watching a goldfish argue with its reflection. Loud, pointless, and deeply embarrassing.
This is an incredibly bad novel. It feels like the original author has no understanding of how to write a good story or of the Hollywood Ballad genre. Everything is built on cliché tropes and ridiculous contradictions. If the prologue was at least somewhat engaging, then by chapter 20-30, my eyes were practically rolling out of my head from the absurdity. It feels like this work crawled out of the 2000s when fact-checking was an issue due to limited internet access or something similar. The story had insane potential if it were written by a competent writer, but here? Just no, man.
5 out of 5. One of my favorite novels in its genre. I read it a few years ago, and it’s exactly what I like. A bunch of technical stuff, and the MC is fully focused on work. To be honest, I’m not interested at all when side plots revolve around character interactions and conflicts. Here, everything is just right in that regard.
My utmost respect. No one has even come close to weaving a Grimoire so well—not as mere uncontrolled power-stroking, but as something that genuinely creates synergy within it all. I really like how you're gradually expanding the universe's lore, and it doesn’t feel overdone or cliché—it truly makes you believe that such a thing exists. Of course, there are some minor flaws, like timing issues—sometimes a moment needs more focus, but you abruptly switch to something else. This is especially noticeable with the introduction of the Elder Blood. But overall, it's insignificant. I hope the updates return to a regular schedule.
This fanfic is clear proof that even good creations can be ruined over time. There was a time when I eagerly awaited a new chapter every two weeks. It used to be one of the best, and in the Marvel segment, it was the absolute best. But for some reason, I don't know why, you have completely disfigured the fanfic beyond recognition. Uncontrolled harems, a shift in focus to some schizophrenic nonsense, and despite the fact that chapters are now released more frequently, the fanfic has devolved into typical porn with some background events. It feels like the author has changed, or they simply realized that they can make way more money off simps and coomers than with quality writing. If this used to be a solid 5+ out of 5, now it's just an unreadable parody that barely deserves a 2, only because of its past achievements.
Yes, you’re absolutely right. It’s annoying when people jump in with their remarks, acting all smart as if they’re absolutely right. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen people confuse canon and fanon, and yet they write as if it was something that actually happened in Rowling’s books.
Dude, you have a lot of talent. Each character has their own characterization, not a faceless person. Best football fanfic. Finally written by someone who is really into it and lives in the culture. As far as I'm concerned, if you make an OP character, see it through to the end, don't diminish his power, just give him challenges that really matter.
