I don't play Dark Worlds, I'm actually a Cyber Drag player so it's been fun looking for cards back in 2005-2006-2007 that would work great in a Dark World deck. I had a lot of fun creating different versions of Asher's deck, he already has his Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3 decks created, with Season 1 being the weakest one, obv.

Hahahaha I knew someone was going to comment this. I'm watching both the sub and the dub as I'm writing this fic, I think for this scene I just liked the sub version more. For Chazz, I liked the dub a lot more, so I based his lines and dialogue from his dub version

He won't stick with japanese folklore forever. I'm not sure about using references from other manga/anime, because it might break immersion a bit, but we'll have to see. Right now, I'm not saying no, but I'm not saying yes either.

Right now I'm focusing on folktales, I think it suits the Jujutsu Kaisen universe perfectly since the series actually has a few of them.

Nuribotoke, a yokai.
The figure bore a grotesque resemblance to a Buddha statue, but twisted, macabre, with eyeballs that dangled unsettlingly from their sockets. Its body was bloated, reminiscent of a fat priest, adding to its ghastly demeanor. The creature moved with a slow, ponderous gait, as if it were struggling to move under the weight of its own swollen form. - HowSo5mthCommented
Dodomeki is also a yokai, a human woman who is cursed with having long arms covered with hundreds of bird eyes due to her habit of stealing money, or so the legend goes. Note that although I'll have their abilities will reference in some way their legends, I'll take some liberties, so for instance, I might (still haven't decided) use the concept of 'stealing' for her powers, and not necessarily stealing money.
A few steps behind, another one emerged. Dodomeki, a figure that seemed at once both human and utterly otherworldly. It was a woman clad in a traditional kimono, adorned with intricate flower patterns that added an eerie beauty to her form. However, her arms were grotesquely elongated, covered in hundreds of tiny, blinking bird eyes, which seemed to watch everything at once. - HowSo5mthCommented
Bakeneko. Note that this is just the specific version I chose to go with, there are many different interpretations of this particular yokai, but I just saw this picture and thought it was cute, so...

He's wearing his Saitama Urami East Junior middle school uniform, just in case. If someone isn't familiar with dates, Megumi begins his education in Jujutsu High in 2018, and we are in 2016 right now.
He was smaller than Jun, and probably a year or two younger, dressed in his middle school uniform, which consisted of a tan jacket over a white dress shirt with black pants and white sneakers. I still don't know much interest Kenjaku is going to have in him, he'll be interested, obviously, but I need to study him a little more as a character before I decide. Suguru on the other hand... Well, I have a lot of plans for him. I'm not even sure if he'll share the fate of his canon self.

Right now Jun won't be using a weapon, the one flaw of his current self is that he sucks at combat in close quarters and is heavily reliant on his cursed spirits. He can't fuse curses together, not right now at least, Jun's just learning after all, but in the far future he might be able to do something resembling a fusion.
''Tada~'' Jun said, a hint of pride in his voice. He held out both of his hands and allowed both cursed spirits to leave his grasp, rejoining the others that hovered inquisitively around the newly formed curse. ''That's my technique, Cursed Spirit Creation.'' Jun declared. ''Wish I could've gone for something more dramatic, but this café isn't exactly the grand stage. If that wasn't the case, then it would straight up be a better version of Cursed Spirit Manipulation in every way, I don't want that. I want each of these two techniques to differentiate themselves from each other, so far I would differentiate them like this: Cursed Spirit Manipulation: Dependant on finding existing curses, requires subjugating them but guarantees control and lastly, the quality of the spirit's cursed technique ceases to grow after absorbing it. (As stated by Kenjaku before absorbing Mahito) Cursed Spirit Creation: Dependant on negative emotions to create curses, but there's no need to subjugate them, doesn't guarantee control, the quality of a spirit's cursed technique keeps evolving, allows some personalization of the cursed spirits.
''Oh, they can think, all right,'' Jun confirmed, his voice full of enthusiasm. "Is that not the case for someone who has Cursed Spirit Manipulation?'' He asked, cocking his head to the side, his orbs studying Gojo's expression. ''Like, I can give them specific orders and stuff, but ultimately it's up to them to follow through.''
