Thanks for the review, yes I can understand that, as for the pacing, I wish I could release more chapters but since I am trying to end this volume well and haven't completely planned out how things will lead to the already planned ending, it takes more time. As for the pacing, I did make things go faster and I guess neglected the characters because actually I thought it would only slow down the pace. Regardless, we are in the last part of this volume and the next one will be completely different so why I take my time

No, don't worry, of course to make it realistic there is nothing wrong for characters to fall for others and especially in Mei's situation where she feels hopeless in a place full of enemies she feels close to Keith but after so many chapters of hinting with Ryan, I am not that twisted lol. Just keep reading, it's just a necessary step for Mei to understand her feelings
